For-sale page kit

A for-sale page on every domain you own

Each name gets its own page: the domain, your asking price if you set one, a way to email you an offer, and a link to the name’s appraisal on audit.domains. No hosting needed, no account, free.

Everything below is built in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us; your price and contact live in your own DNS or your own file.

What reaches you after a sale?

Compare fees at your own asking price. Then see the buyer price that leaves you with at least the same estimated proceeds on audit.domains.

Enter the other route's effective total percentage at this price, after any minimums, including payment processing. Add only separate fixed charges. No marketplace is assumed. These inputs stay in this browser.

Set a proceeds goal or check an offer

Enter what you want to keep after estimated sale fees. This is your own proceeds goal, not a valuation or a prediction of what a buyer will pay.

Check the estimated proceeds from a buyer's offer. Nothing accepts the offer or changes your listing terms.

These estimates use the same card fees and price limits as the comparison. They exclude taxes, acquisition costs and renewals. Your proceeds goal is separate from any buyer-price floor you set later in the listing flow.

Estimate uses audit.domains' 5% fee plus Square's estimated 2.9% + $0.30 US online card fee. Actual processing fees, refunds, taxes, acquisition costs and renewals can change your proceeds. This is a fee comparison, not a valuation or a promise of a sale. Routes differ in reach and transfer support.

Card checkout requires your own US Square account and DNS proof of control. You set the final price in the listing flow; nothing is published here.

Before you choose card checkout
  • Use your own US Square account to receive the payment. audit.domains does not hold the funds.
  • Prove DNS control and choose your final price in the listing flow. DNS control is not proof of legal ownership.
  • Payment starts as a card authorization. Complete the transfer and its required proof within 7 days; otherwise the authorization is voided. A listing or a held payment is not a completed sale.

0 names read. Names not listed still get a page, without a price.

No hosting: two steps at your registrar

  1. Set the name’s URL forwarding (some registrars call it URL redirect) to its page address below. Forwarding sends anyone who types your domain to that page.
  2. Add the TXT record(s) below with the host _for-sale. A TXT record is a line of text in your domain’s DNS settings, the same screen where forwarding lives. Your price and contact live there, in your own DNS, so you change or remove them at your registrar.

If the name uses a parking service’s nameservers, switch it back to your registrar’s own DNS first. Changes usually show within minutes. The records use the _for-sale format published in July 2026 as RFC 10023, so any tool that reads it sees the same price.

Add names above. Each one gets its forwarding address and records with copy buttons, and all of them come as one text file.

Have hosting? One file for every name

Download a single index.html and put it where your parked names point. It reads the address it is opened on, so one file covers ten names or ten thousand, and it loads no fonts, trackers or scripts from anywhere else.

Putting the file live

  1. Any web host that can serve one folder for several domains works: shared hosting with parked or add-on domains, or a static host that lets you attach custom domains to one site.
  2. Upload the file as the folder’s index.html.
  3. Point each name’s DNS at that host. Open one name to check it shows its own address.

Prices on the page are yours, not ours. The page carries a small “For-sale page by audit.domains” credit link; it is your file, so you can edit it.
