Certificate verification

Every issued certificate carries a SHA-256 digest and a verifier link. Paste that link (or scan the QR code on the document) to confirm the certificate's values have not been altered since issuance. A certificate file № on its own opens the public record instead.

A certificate records an automated opinion of value, not a qualified appraisal. A tax filing that requires one, such as a deduction for a donated domain worth more than $5,000, needs a qualified appraiser.

The link check recomputes the certificate's SHA-256 digest from the values the link carries and confirms the two agree, so a figure altered after issue no longer matches. Because both the values and the digest travel in the link, this proves the link is internally consistent - it is not proof that audit.domains issued it. Confirm that with the file № lookup against the issued record.
